Introduction to Animal Ethics

This session will give an overview of the Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes, guidance on the animal ethics review process at Deakin and provide helpful tips on how to navigate ResearchPoint, the system you’ll need to use to apply for animal ethics approval. The session facilitator is Dayna Johnson, Specialist - Animal Welfare.

Researchers new to Deakin and graduate researchers will find this session helpful but it may also be a worthwhile refresher for experienced researchers who haven’t submitted an application in a while.
