About this event
Have you ever wanted to learn how photographers use studio lighting to create stunning fashion portraits? In this three-hour workshop you will learn some of the techniques that fashion photographers use with live demonstrations and practical exercises.
In this workshop you will learn:
- How the camera works
- Be introduced to the manual settings to achieve the best quality images on any camera
- How different light sources and angles affect the results of your images and learn how to measure the light for the correct exposure.
- The role of the make-up artist and stylist on set and learn how to safely set-up and pack down various photography equipment.
You can practice what you’ve learned with a model and take home your own photos.
Ages: 16+
Experience: No previous photography experience is required
Equipment: Shared equipment will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment/camera.
