Who should attend?
Anyone involved in designing, building, maintaining or managing an intranet. This includes intranet owners and managers, internal communicators, content management professionals, knowledge managers, business process professionals & business analysts, IT managers, HR managers, change management, training & organisational development professionals, usability specialists, people working with SharePoint, Lotus Notes, IBM Websphere and other intranet software.
Why should I attend?
This is a unique opportunity to hear case studies from three organisations whose intranets have received positive feedback from the people that matter the most - their own intranet end users.
These organisations have all participated in the Worldwide Intranet Challenge (WIC). The WIC is an online survey that allows organisations to obtain feedback from their intranet end users and then compare this feedback with other participating organisations. Over 13,000 intranet end users from 44 organisations in 12 countries have participated.
The organisations presenting at this event all rank in the top 5% in one or more of the survey questions. One of the organisations is currently rated as the overall number one intranet.
At this event you will discover the techniques, tips & tricks that these organisations use that allow them to deliver intranets that work.
What's the agenda?

Katrina Marques - Brightstar Logistics
Build an intranet that facilitates employee online interaction
Shilpa Chengappa - Hexaware Technologies
Build an effective gateway to corporate applications, documents, templates, reports and content
Josh Patel - Bupa Australia
Where is it?
This event is upstairs at Melbourne's iconic Young & Jackson's hotel. Recently refurbished, it is just across the road from Flinders St Station (handy for commuters!). The event fee covers drinks & finger food so it will be a great chance for you to not only learn about leading intranets, but also meet and chat with other people who are interested in building intranets that work.
When should I book?
Seating is limited so book early to make sure you reserve your place. If you are from out of town, don't forget that the world famous Melbourne spring racing carnival begins on Saturday 30th October. So why not make it a long weekend and arrive early in Melboune to attend this event.
