Description

Come along to see screenshots and insights from intranet and digital workplace leaders in the UK, USA, Denmark, New Zealand and Australia.

Following the announcement of the 2017 Intranet and Digital Workplace Award winners, this showcase session provides a one-off chance for local intranet folk to receive an in-depth walkthrough of the winning entries of these global awards.

A free afternoon event, this is a great opportunity not just to see the leading edge of intranets and digital workplace, but to make connections with teams in other organisations.

The afternoon will feature Catherine Grenfell (Step Two), who will provide a detailed walk-through of the winners, including many screenshots.

The key themes for this year include:

  • New content creation trumps migration on leading intranets
  • Intranet teams are still innovating and intranets are still evolving
  • A digital workplace for frontline staff must be mobile-first
  • High impact apps are based on simple ideas

Showcased winners will include:

  • Human Services (Australia), "Checking the quality of intranet content"
  • Queensland Treasury (Australia), "Re-imagining and transforming IT support"
  • Visa (USA), "Building a beautiful user-centred intranet"
  • COWI (Denmark), "Supporting site inspectors out in the field"
  • Port Otago (NZ), "Improving processes with an intranet app"

The afternoon will be packed with screenshots and insights from these leading solutions, providing inspiration that can't be found anywhere else.

NOTE: There are limited places, so book quickly!

Registration is between 1 and 1:30, with presentations starting promptly at 1:30pm.
