In celebration of International Women's Day, The Bird is holding a fundraiser event for Young Women Against Sexual Violence (YWASV), celebrating with performances by three women lead bands: Zorah, Freehand and Bexx.

YWASV is an organisation which engages the community in discussion on the prevalence and normalisation of sexual violence by hosting events in creative spaces throughout the city. Their organisation provides a space for women with lived experience of sexual violence to collaborate, express themselves, and empower themselves, by taking action and having their voices heard.

At the beginning of this event, a few women from YWASV will be sharing their stories.

This will take place from 8.30-9pm.

Potentially triggering content will be limited to that time.
