  • Do you have a job but want to know about your rights and obligations in Australia?

  • Are you interested in how volunteering can help you develop job ready skills?

Come along for a FREE, fun and informative session about working in Australia.
Get informed, clear your doubts and network with peers while enjoying the great food.

What will you get to know?:

  • A lawyer will explain students’ rights and obligations & provide practical tips about what to do if you’re not treated fairly at work.

  • An employer will share what they look for in an employee and job application

  • Students with casual/part time jobs and others who do volunteer work will share their experiences

  • Find out about resources and services to help you get a job.

Please note: this event is only for international students studying at Deakin Waurn Ponds or Waterfornt campuses, DUELI, Deakin College, Marcus Oldham, The Gordon Institute of TAFE or AGB Training Geelong.
