FAQs

What is included with tickets?

Student tickets ($55) include academic dress, printed program and refreshments after the ceremony

Guest tickets ($15) include printed program and refreshments after the ceremony

What academic dress will I be wearing?

Certificate level qualification = gown
Diploma level qualification and above = gown, stole or hood and mortar board

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is available at the Southbank Campus from 4:30pm, entry is via Merivale Street

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No – only you can use your ticket

What is the refund policy?

No refunds will be given for Graduation tickets.

If for any reason TAFE Queensland Brisbane deems you are ineligible to graduate you will be contacted directly via email.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes and your student ID card

What time will I need to arrive?

You will need to arrive at 4:30pm to allow enough time to register, put on your academic dress, photos and have a student briefing

How many guests can I bring?

Two guest tickets only per student to venue capacity

What time can my guest arrive?

It is recommended guests arrive no earlier than 6:15pm.

Will my Graduation be recorded?

No- there will be no videography for this event.

Photography

Sheila Sissons Photography will be the event photographer.After graduation, your photos will be available for purchase at www.sheilasissonsphotography.com.au/. Visit their website for further information on the package available.

Terms and Conditions

1. Participation in the graduation ceremony is dependent upon the satisfactory completion of all course requirements

2. No refunds will be given for graduation tickets. If for any reason TAFE Queensland Brisbane deems you ineligible to graduate you will be contacted directly

3. My guests and I may be photographed and or recorded and have no rights relating to the material production or presentation

a) TAFE Queensland Brisbane may use the recording to promote the organisations activities

b) TAFE Queensland Brisbane may reproduce the recording in any form, in whole or a part, and distribute the works by any medium including the internet, CD Rom or other media

c) TAFE Queensland Brisbane will not pay me or my guests for giving consent or for the use of my image or recording.

4. Booking is not confirmed until payment for graduation is processed and registration form is 100% complete
