About this Event

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes miscarriage, stillbirth, and the death of a baby shortly after birth.

International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is observed internationally on October 15 each year. The day is observed with remembrance ceremonies and candle-lighting vigils, concluding with the International Wave of Light, a worldwide lighting of candles, that circumnavigate the globe beginning at 7:00 pm, in each respective time zone, creating a wave of light that circles all around the world.

A candle-lighting will be held at 7.00pm at this event, with 1 minute of silence, dedicated to remembering all of the babies who have been taken too soon.

Miscarriage Information Support Service (MISS) is a community support service providing information and resources to better support women and men who have lost a baby through miscarriage.
