Our International Training Day Event will be packed full of educational information, that you can take away with you. Over the coming months, we will release information regarding the day, however as a starting point, I would like to introduce you to our first guest speaker of the day, Pat Jewell.

Pat Jewell is Manager of the Parenting and Early Years program at the Australian Childhood Foundation and contributed to the Bringing Up Great Kids suite of training materials and products for different family groups.

These include BUGK: First 1000 days and BUGK: Parenting after Family Violence.

Pat Jewell has a background in early childhood development specialising in working with families where the children had experienced trauma.

Pat is the author if three publications “Getting Good Speech Going” (assisting young children with their speech) and two groupwork manuals for professionals “Out of the Mainstream” (working with parents with an intellectual disability in a group situation) and “From Strength to Strength” (for professionals facilitating diverse parenting groups).
