Event description

Description

Northern Beaches Council, ShuffleMedia Productions and digital agency Futurekind are proud to celebrate the launch of Sydney’s hottest new Entertainment Technology Incubator and production studio, Shuffle Media.

Part of Manly Arts Festival 2017, ShuffleMedia will be showcasing recent works with a new exhibition, Interactiva 2.0, an audio-visual Installation featuring customised hardware and software produced specifically for this event.

You are invited to suspend disbelief and experience the ephemeral artistry of 21st century interactive augmented reality.

Also on display is an introduction to the modular potential of ShuffleMedia Studios. This will include a showcase of recent collaborative works by Futurekind, in which 16 scenes in 12 production-designed locations were shot in a single day.

A futuristic art installation, networking event and party, you don’t want to miss this…

INTERACTIVA 2.0

Every interaction with technology sends a ripple around the world. As we emote we connect and disconnect. As we think, we create. Yet all too often we are spectators in our own lives, oblivious to the immense impact we have on the world around us.

The Observer Effect, that the observer effects the observed is all around us.

In this installation we shortened the gap between spectator and experiencer, in which the collective action through movement of all in attendance becomes it’s own living breathing augmented reality.

Media:
