Youth work is a tough gig! Throughout our career we will hear stories of violence, abuse, neglect and much more. We will be bombarded with adolescent angst and a sector that is severely under resourced and supported. We are excited to do the job... But, what do we need to do to keep from burning out? This 6.5 hour seminar helps youth workers to construct a framework for their own well being and self-care. The five-step health and wellbeing plan will help you to develop balance in your life, which in turn will help you to gain longevity and professionalism in your career in the youth sector.
