Training for Peer Workers about disclosing their lived experience.

This training is designed for Peer Workers (or anyone interested in Lived Experience work) who would like to know about disclosing their lived experience to consumers.


At the completion of this session, you will:

  • Define intentional disclosure.
  • Understand the role of intentional disclosure in Peer work.
  • Learn how Peer workers might use intentional disclosure in response to a consumer’s situation
  • Recognise potential barriers in disclosure and learn strategies for overcoming a disconnect.
  • Reflect on the impact of disclosure
