Event description

Description

Karel Williams is a professor at Alliance Manchester Business School. He will be Keynote speaker at the Australia and New Zealand Regional Association International 40th Conference being held at RMIT. He will be giving this public lecture as part of this conference.

Karel represents an international research team which argues that citizen welfare and capability can everywhere be improved by radical social innovation in the “foundational economy”. They support this argument with empirical research into mundane sectors like food processing or adult care which deliver welfare critical goods and services and through analysis of the outcomes of structural reforms like rail privatisation and government outsourcing.
