Inspire in 5: presented by The Innovators' Tea Party

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a scientist?

Do you want to see where new technology and innovation will take us in the future?

Have you ever asked yourself how anything you learn in maths is actually useful?

Learn about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths from the experts!

Join us on March 31st for a series of presentations from our incredible Women in STEM Mentors to learn about the endless opportunities a career in STEM can offer. You will hear first hand what it’s like to work at the frontlines of innovation, and learn how rewarding a career in STEM can be!

- What does a day in the life of a drone pilot look like?

- How can you cross your love of people or art with science?

- How can I make a career out of researching and interacting with my favourite animal?

This event is for high school students in years 7-9, their parents/guardians and teachers. Each of our 10 Women in STEM mentors will give a short 5-minute presentation about their studies, career journey, and day-to-day work life, followed by an opportunity for students to ask questions.

The cost of this event is covered by your small contribution of $5 per ticket. Any profits will be re-invested into other TITP programs in WA throughout the year.

Target audience & year level restrictions:

This event is open to all students in years 7-9 and their families and teachers. To ensure this incredible opportunity is made available to as many WA students as possible, each booking is capped at a maximum of 4 tickets and must include at least one student in years 7-9. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Bookings which do not adhere to the conditions above will be cancelled & refunded minus the booking fee - thank you for your understanding.
