Description

An insight into the top of Chinese politics, what it means for Australia, and RMIT, with influential China expert, Professor Richard Rigby.

Join our Global Dialogue Series with RMIT's DVC Global Development, Professor Andrew MacIntyre in conversation with Professor Richard Rigby, to hear key insights into what’s happening in China, what it means for Australia and the University.

Professor Richard Rigby is one of Australia's most influential commentators on national politics in China, as the Executive Director, ANU China Institute. He’s also a former diplomat and senior intelligence official, and has the ear of the highest levels of government.

China is the battleground for ambitious universities around the world. Higher education is a top priority for the Chinese government - who also aspire to push 42 of its own universities into “world-class” status by 2050.

In addition, this year is also the Chinese Communist Party’s 19th Party Congress where China will set its strategy for the next five years.

Join us to hear key insights into one of RMIT's priority markets, followed by drinks and networking in one of RMIT's new landmark venues. Don’t miss out - places strictly limited.
