An Evening with John Seale, is an intimate event that will appeal to anyone with an interest in movies, in artistic endeavour and in cinematography or creativity with a camera. Anyone that’s keen to know what happens behind the scenes on a movie set will also enjoy spending an evening under John’s enchanting spell.
John will speak engagingly about the art, craft, science, history, personalities and mythology of cinematography and filmmaking. He will reveal aspects of his life spent making landmark films. His presentation will be lavishly illustrated with before-and-after and behind-the-scenes clips from his many films.
John himself promises “a presentation sprinkled with anecdotes and technical aspects, garnished with dubious philosophies.” It’s about the magic of movies as told by one of cinema’s great talents.
