Description

Join the School of Health and Social Development and special guests for a symposium to share, discuss and present work in practice with refugees and asylum seekers.

Build connections with colleagues across academic and practice spaces, share knowledge and build potential partnerships in this important work.

In the morning hear from practitioners and their projects, including visiting Swedish scholar Dr Ulrika Ferm discussing her KomHIT Flykting (Come Here Refugee) project, Foundation House and Space2Be. Researchers from the School will conduct a workshop in the afternoon to facilitate knowledge sharing, project development, evaluation, writing up results, publishing and applying for funding.

The event is free, with lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided.
