Event Details

Join City Historian Dr. Lisa Murray, as she talks about the life and work of Australia’s first female electrical engineer. From setting up her own electrical contracting business in 1918, through to her contribution to radio, the WWII effort, and technical training for women, this is the story of a remarkable Sydneysider.

Visit the display on Violet McKenzie at Kings Cross Library throughout April.
