Event description

Description

Our society, with the help of local business, is holding a screening of the new documentary on sustainability and innovation '2040'. This documentary comes from Damon Gameau, the director of 'That Sugar Film', An aspirational journey to discover what the future could look like if we simply embraced the best that exists today.

The event will start off with a short presentation by our guest speakers from Take 3 for the Sea and the Community Environment Network who will be discussing current local strategies to prevent pollution.

At 6:30pm the film will begin, exploring the positive impact of sustained innovation and growth, and how accepting change now would have incredible impacts on how we, and future generations treat the world around us.

Warm soup will be served, and in order promote a waste free event, we please ask that attendees bring their own cup or mug.
