Afford School Leaver Employment Support is specially designed for school leavers who want an introduction into the workforce and to discover the opportunities that employment holds.

If you are a young person aged 18-25 yrs and you have 'Finding and Keeping a job' in your NDIS plan, SLES is a great option for helping you figure out the next step on your employment journey. We are opening our doors so you can see for yourself what we do at our Afford SLES program and be the judge if it is right for you!!

Afford can be your partner to make new connections, explore career opportunities and discover the path that’s right for you.

Afford can support you to:

• Strengthen your skills to enter the workforce

• Build up knowledge of workforce principles, such as being on time, personal presentation, and working with others

• Building confidence in your abilities and communication skills

• Find work experience in fields that interest you, including on the job support

We will be holding Open days every week until the end of the year so you have every chance to drop in and check it out for yourself!! You can join in the days training and activities, meet the friendly staff, or even just have a look around! Everyone is welcome!!
