This information session is for disability service providers.

The Senior Practitioner, Richard Bruggemann and Diane Holty representative from the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI), Disability Policy Unit will be in Mount Gamber for a free information session for disability service providers and those that support people with disability in a formal capacity.

Diane will talk about the Disability Engagement Register as a way people with disability, families and carers can influence policy decisions and have their say about matters affecting them. Diane will also briefly talk about the work of the Disability Policy Unit.

Richard will discuss the role of the Senior Practitioner, restrictive practices and positive behavour supports in the context of the transition tot he National Disability Insurance Scheme.
