Event description

Description

The College of Business and Economics is offering an in-country intensive course, CBEA3066, featuring a faculty-led 10 day study tour to St. Petersburg, Russia during the winter break in July 2018 (summer in Russia).

The Russian study tour, facilitated by our academic partner Study Group in partnership with St. Petersburg State University, will include prominent lectures from academics on past and present Russian economy, politics and business; guest lectures from Russian business leaders and innovative start-up business owners; and cultural visits to world treasures such as the Hermitage, Peterhof Palace and Mariinsky Theater that will enrich student’s understanding of the fundamentals of Russian values. The tour will also feature field-trips to family-based, state-owned, and joint-venture companies, including both “Soviet” and modern Russian corporate environments. Participants will gain insights into the question of ‘What is Russia?’ from panel discussions and debates with Russian business people and academics.

Further information and application details can be found at CBEA3066 - Global Business Immersion - St. Petersburg, Russia.
