Event description

Description

You are cordially invited to join us. A new “Lions Club of Brisbane Vietnamese” intends to be formed and we sincerely invite you to participate.

The information evening is scheduled to be held with banquet dinner, please bring $30 and pay at entry.

  • Thursday 27th July 7:00pm-9:00 pm

  • At the 7 Palace Restaurant Inala, Shop 50/156 Inala Ave, Inala QLD 4077

The Club aims to serve the Vietnamese community as a platform to empower members to give back to the community, encourage growth in the community and promote understanding through services in unison and collaboration.

You remember the faces of people that helped you, that have impacted your lives, thankful for their generosity. Through the Lions Club, your face will be remembered by those who you will have impacted through your service and generosity.

What is most beautiful is the faces you will remember helping through serving them. Let's give others the opportunity to make a real difference. Together as a community as a Lion, problems become smaller as the community get bigger, better and unified from young, old. You will also have the opportunity to meet and connect with other like-minded members and from every spectrum in the community.

For those interested, they can speak to Huy Vuong or Danh Nguyen as per contact below regarding the information evening.

On the night we all will have the pleasure meeting Lions from our sponsoring club, the Lions Club of Brisbane Chinese, hear from Lion Mr. Peter Ho (Past District Governor) and Lion Mr. Robert Zee (Certified Guiding Lion).

The purpose of forming Lions Club of Brisbane Vietnamese:

- To organise, coordinate and create a club that fosters a spirit of understanding amongst our people and the people of the world.

- To promote the principle of good standards, values of government and citizenship, by providing a forum for open discussion of all matters of public interest separate from politics and religion.

- To actively take interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community and encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professionals, public works and private endeavours.

Most importantly, to unite our community in bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding through service.

Please feel free to come early for a little networking, registration opens at 6:30 pm.
