This learning aims to provide health professional with the latest updates of the 2021 Influenza season.

Learning outcomes

By the completion of this session, participants should be able to:

  • List the influenza strains contained in the 2021 influenza vaccines used in Australia
  • Explain the difference between an egg-based vaccine and a cell-based vaccine
  • Identify the priority groups for funded influenza vaccine and for COVID-19 vaccine
  • Indicate where to find information for the SA Influenza program and COVID-19 vaccine roll-out
