Event description

Description

Discover the Magic of Infant Massage. Each Wednesday for 5 weeks join me and our small group to learn, practice and discuss baby massage.

Parents are discovering that massage can help their child settle, sleep better, reduce crying and relieve problems such as wind, colic, constipation, reflux and eczema. It even helps reduce post natal depression.

Good for parents and carers too. Research is finding that caregivers feel more confident, less stressed and felt a closer bond with their baby after learning infant massage.

Our classes are suitable for Pregnant Mums, Parents of premature infants, Grandparents, Foster carers and anyone in a direct caring role of young children.

Classes are presented by Chelsea Young, a certified infant massage instructor. Techniques are demonstrated with Louisa (our demonstration doll) with participants following along with their children. Additional demonstration dolls will be available to use if your bub is not ready for a massage.

We prefer to keep class sizes small so if you are interested please rsvp your interest. Limited to 6 participants. (partners are encouraged to attend).
Individual classes are available for partners. They are held in your home for added comfort.

Investment for the full set of classes is $175 ($35 per 1.5 hour class)
this includes
- Massage oil to use throughout the course and future practice
- Instruction manual covering all techniques
- Certificate of participation
- Home made Refreshments
- Follow class in 3 months to help with integrating techniques

Deposit of $50 to secure your place with balance to be finalised by week 2. Any questions please message and well be happy to assist.
