Event description
A conversation and Q&A with regional arts leaders to talk about an incredible year of change, possibility, and what the future holds.

About this Event

Critical Stages Touring CEO Chris Bendall hosts a conversation and Q&A with regional arts leaders to talk about an incredible year of change.

What kind of future do we want and need for our work? How can we use this period of recovery to reshape our practices in terms of sustainability and community engagement? It’s a chance to unpack how artists have managed in regional NSW throughout 2020; how covid-19 has affected artistic practice, delivery, and audience development; and what the future looks like as venues open their doors.

The forum will be held in-person (very limited seating) as part of ArtState Wagga Wagga, the exciting regional arts festival and conference. The forum will also be available via Zoom for all those who can't make it to Wagga for the event.

Please let us know if you have access requirements. We're keen to understand how we can make this event more accessible to you.

Special Guest Speakers include:

  • Carissa Campbell - Manager of the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre
  • Dr Tim Kurlyowitcz - Executive Director of Eastern Riverina Arts.
  • Robert Lewis - Course Director, Creative Industries | Faculty of Arts and Education - Charles Sturt University
