Victoria is delivering an unprecedented pipeline of work across the state’s metropolitan and regional road networks. Major freeways and roads are being upgraded and widened, and new roads and bridges are being built.
As part of this, the Social Value, Capability and Inclusion program is a Victorian Government initiative delivered by Major Road Projects Victoria to support Victoria’s road industry to create an inclusive and capable talent pipeline and supply chain to help deliver these major road projects.
Find out how to implement social procurement in road projects
At this inaugural Industry forum, you will learn about how the Victorian Government’s social procurement framework can be implemented as part of delivering major road projects. Find out about:
Aboriginal businesses and social enterprises already in the transport infrastructure supply chain; and
-
Ways your business can buy from experienced and skilled organisations who are already delivering great outcomes
-
Tapping into under-represented populations to help deliver major road projects
Building capability to deliver
The forum will focus on how Major Road Projects Victoria will work with the Victorian Road Construction industry and to deliver social procurement and capability requirements in transport infrastructure projects. You will also have the opportunity to hear from industry best practice.
