Event description

Description

The Faculty of Engineering has engaged Alternate Futures to run this workshop. Alternate Futures has been established specifically to work at the interface between Australia’s research organisations, tech-start-ups and industry, facilitating connections between problems and solutions. By addressing translation, system and cultural issues, they aim to empower both sides to see and understand the needs of the other with the aim of establishing commercially viable partnerships. Their clients come from both sides of the equation, and AF develops a bespoke process based around a set of standard tools for each client. An example of AF authored work aimed at building research capability within industry is a document produced for the National Energy Resources Australia Industry Growth Centre (NERA) Their facilitators are all experienced industry experts from a range of technical disciplines, and experienced in change management processes.

Please note that by enrolling in this workshop you confirm that you are available to attend both days.
