The Clean Energy Regulator is seeking EOIs to accelerate the emergence of an exchange traded market for emissions offsets.

About this event

The Clean Energy Regulator is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) to accelerate the emergence of an exchange traded market for emissions offsets, in effect an Australian carbon exchange. The exchange will complement the current ‘over the counter’ market, making the trading of Australian carbon credit units (ACCUs) simpler, supporting rapidly increasing voluntary demand from the corporate sector.

To attend the briefing, you must register.

This event is for potential respondents who have downloaded the EOI via AusTender.

There are two attendance options:

  • in person (places are limited)
  • online – further information will be provided nearer the date.

The attendance registration will close at 4pm on Friday 7 May 2021.
