The City of Gold Coast in partnership with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) and Queensland Department of State Development would like to invite you to an information session on food and beverage supply chain opportunities and to register for a bespoke ‘pitch perfect’ readiness workshop.

The aim of this event is to help local businesses gain visibility within domestic and international supply chains and further enhance their capabilities to engage in these. It will focus on the importance of articulating your unique selling proposition and also access to additional buying groups outside of this event. It will be practical and interactive leading to real time benefits for the delegates.

Information Session (Part 1): Discover food and beverage supply chain opportunities

  • Discover what is needed to be supply ready.
  • Hear from contractors and buyers from the local supply chain.
  • Understand how to compete and engage in the supply chain.
  • Discover why visibility is important.

Pitch Perfect Readiness Workshop (Part 2): Presented by Steve Vermey, BMV Solutions

Participants will:

  • Learn how to develop an individualised 2 minute ‘perfect pitch’ – how to introduce your business.
  • Develop a unique selling proposition.
  • Develop hard copy collateral (Flyers etc) and what to bring on the day.
  • Know how to relate to the buyer and give them what they need.

Participants will be provided with support material to take away from the workshop.

Cost: $30. Light refreshments will be provided.

  8. You will not be entitled to claim any payment, royalty or other consideration from the event organiser for making, storing, using, publishing or reproducing the images and recordings.
