Individualised student learning: Approaches and innovations within a capstone paramedic course with James Thompson
Large student numbers with varied experience, understanding and capabilities challenge traditional methods of teaching delivery. Ensuring graduates meet industry “work-readiness” expectations further compounds these issues. Capstone subjects can help 'bring their learning together' by placing learning within their specific professional context. This session will describe the strategies employed to respond simultaneously to the demands of industry, and the unique learning needs of each student.
