Description

This National Science Week please join Indigenous researchers and advisors of the National Environmental Science Program at Questacon in Canberra for a conversation on Indigenous scientific knowledge and practice. Speakers will present approaches to incorporating Indigenous knowledge and values into climate science, biodiversity, threatened species recovery, urban planning, land use and freshwater and marine ecology.

Session 2 will be in the Japan Theatre in the evening and welcomes members of the public from 5:45pm, for a 6:15pm start. Following the panel discussion there will be a Q&A session and an opportunity to continue conversations with representatives of the five host NESP Hubs over light refreshments. There is another session happening earlier in the day, at 3:15pm - tickets for the daytime session available at https://indigsciconvos1.eventbrite.com.au.
