All money raised at this book sale will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation - a national book industry charity dedicated to lifting literacy levels in remote Indigenous communities, so all children across Australia have the same choices and opportunities.
The foundation’s work includes gifting books to communities that need them, promoting early literacy through Book Buzz story times and publishing books by Indigenous people for Indigenous people.
This event is being held in person at Preston Library. There will be plenty of picture books and board books, as well as a selection of non-fiction for adults.
