Description

Join us on a local tour of Kingston’s amazing biodiversity with a look at native vegetation at our foreshores and parklands with a local ranger. This interactive workshop will educate participates on indigenous gardening as well as demonstrating correct planting procedures.

Meeting at Mentone, a bus will escort participants to the Grange Reserve, Clayton South, with a short walk identifying indigenous plant species and discussing the local natural history, before returning by bus to Mentone, with a short planting demonstration at the Rocky Headland.

The workshop will effectively demonstrate to participants how to incorporate indigenous species into their garden. All participants will receive some tubestock at the end of the session.
