A workshop for supporters and those interested to stand for political and public office to increase the presence of minority groups in our every day life. Aspirant leaders, family, friends, spouses, boyfriends, mentors are all welcome to add to the momentum of an inclusive, truly multi-cultural community! Men and women are equally important in working together for equality.

With Frances Bedford (Independent Member for Florey) Esther Simbi, (Dignity Party) and a range of speakers to discuss the joys and challenges of public and political life in the 125TH anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in SA.


Featuring a video presentation by Dr Anne Aly MP

Facilitator: Dr Sunny-Rue Chivaura

Coordinator: Liellie McLaughlin and David Winderlich

The workshop will be followed by a performance by Dusty Feet Mob (an Aboriginal Children's Dance Group) and an Iranian feast!

A forum discussion on Statement from the Heart and the future of Voice, Treaty Truth will form the high-point of this event to celebrate an inclusive future
