About this event
Biodiversity is important. What can we do to help?
Join us for this free event with Aboriginal Landcare Officer Ciaron Dunn to hear about different perspectives on urban ecology. Ciaron will be telling stories of soil and water; it's importance and practical steps we can all take to make a difference.
This is the first of two workshops designed to give participants an insight into urban biodiversity and some ideas about what we can all do to help our local areas become a thriving habitat for native flora and fauna. Tickets to the second event 'Caring for Wildlife in Urbanised Areas' are available here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/caring-for-wildlife-in-urbanised-areas-workshop-tickets-210877800177
Information covered in the workshops will be illustrated in a mural to be painted by Sharon Billinge in Camperdown in late 2021 www.sharonbillinge.com
A light afternoon tea will be provided.
These workshops were made possible with a City of Sydney Matching grant and support from 107 Projects Redfern. Attendees must sign in, wear a mask and be able to show proof of full vaccination on entry. This may change in line with NSW Health Guidelines.
