Evie Mertens

Evie Mertens is a urology nurse working at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Australian Prostate Centre in Melbourne. Her main role involves educating and supporting men and their partners with prostate cancer and she facilitates several nurse led clinics including a sexual function and prostate surveillance clinic. She is currently studying to become a nurse practitioner in urology and is looking forward to finally completing her studies at the end of the year!

Dianne Jones

Dianne Jones has been a clinical nurse consultant seeing urology and continence clients for over 13 years, after completing a graduate certificate in urology and continence. In recent years she has completed her Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner and is an endorsed Nurse Practitioner. Dianne works in the community spanning South Gippsland and Bass Coast as a Clinical Nurse Consultant for the continence services, and privately as a Nurse Practitioner in Warragul. Dianne values patient centred care and empowering her clients with information to provide them with the tools to improve their continence management.

Tabatha Rando

Tabatha is an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner who has worked for over 20 years in the specialty of wound management across acute, subacute, aged care and community sectors. She has held senior Wound Management Consultant nursing roles over this time with The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal District Nursing Services in both Victoria and South Australia.
Tabatha has a passion for holistic evidence based care, and education. She is a published author, an invited speaker at national and international conferences, and has held several Wounds Australia (formerly AWMA) executive positions. Tabatha currently works at Wound Innovations (the Wound Management Innovations CRC legacy company) in both Adelaide and at their interdisciplinary Brisbane clinic.

Melinda Brooks

Melinda Brooks has worked in wound management for more than 20 years, including the Victorian Adult Burns Unit, community nursing, in research and as a lecturer in wound care at Monash and La Trobe universities. Following her endorsement in 2013, Melinda works predominantly in private practice as a Nurse Practitioner in wound management with a focus on aged care and the community. Melinda has presented at many state and national conferences and enjoys teaching others about holistic wound management.

Emma Mitts

Emma is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a passion for a holistic approach to nutrition in older adults. Emma has worked with older adults and in aged care through both her professional and personal life. Emma's work has a strong focus on a person centered approach to ​care, quality of life and promoting independence for as long as possible. Emma has an interest and experience in dementia and after completing a Masters in Dietetics, Emma completed a Diploma in Dementia Care.

Emma currently works as a private consulting dietitian, predominantly in residential aged care facilities and for older people in the community and as a Senior Dietitian at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Park Campus.
