Lisa Astell ~ Clinical Nurse Consultant, Continence & Urology

Lisa began her nursing career at the North-West Regional Hospital in Burnie, Tasmania. After graduating, she spent five years in London where she discovered her passion for urology, specialising at renowned Urological Centre, St Peters Hospital.

Returning to Tasmania, she began working at the Royal Hobart Hospital on the urology ward where she discovered her passion for teaching. Lisa then became a clinical teacher, lecturing nursing students for the University of Tasmania (UTAS). After nine years of teaching and a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Clinical Nursing (Urology) later, she moved into her current role as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, Continence and Urology. The service has since been expanded from a Continence Nurse Advisor position to offer services to both in and out-patients across the entire specialty.

Tammy Harvey ~ Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner

Tammy is a Registered Nurse and an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency.

She specialised in emergency with a Post Graduate Diploma, before completing a Masters Nurse Practitioner, and a clinical internship at The Alfred Emergency and Trauma Centre in Melbourne.

Tammy is currently completing a post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology.

She is committed to supporting community based health solutions in a collaborative, innovative approach. She brings to the team knowledge about acute and subacute management of minor injury and illness.

Victoria Cullen ~ Sexual Function Specialist

Victoria Cullen is a PHD researcher, intimacy consultant and professional speaker. Victoria is passionate about helping people tackle important topics related to quality of life, such as sexual wellbeing and intimacy. She runs a private practice specialising in sexual re-navigation for people who are managing physiological changes. Her PHD research at RMIT University focuses on designing solutions for sexual challenges after prostate cancer treatment.

Juliana Lisboa ~ Dietitian

Juliana is an Accredited Practising Dietitian & Sports Dietitian, with a Bachelor of Biological Sciences and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics working in private practice since 2010. Since she has never get tired of learning, Juliana also attained a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee and she is currently studying a Bachelor in Psychology.

Juliana takes an individualised and no-nonsense approach to nutrition and believe in eating real, fresh, seasonal food. She not only considers the nutritional requirements, but also help people identify and clear barriers that may be preventing them from taking action. The good old "I know what to do, but...".

Sarah O'Laughlin ~ Physiotherapist

Sarah has been working as a pelvic floor physiotherapist since completing her postgraduate studies in Continence & Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation at the University of Melbourne in 2003. During her career as a physiotherapist, she has worked within both the public and private sectors in Australia and England. In 2010, Sarah was awarded the title of Continence & Women’s Health Physiotherapist by the Australian Physiotherapy Association; a formal recognition of her clinical expertise in this specialized field. Sarah is currently employed by the Tasmanian Health Service and enjoys working as part of a team within the Community Continence Service.
