Tabatha Rando

Tabatha is an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner who has worked for over 20 years in the specialty of wound management across acute, subacute, aged care and community sectors. She has held senior Wound Management Consultant nursing roles over this time with The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal District Nursing Services in both Victoria and South Australia.
Tabatha has a passion for holistic evidence based care, and education. She is a published author, an invited speaker at national and international conferences, and has held several Wounds Australia (formerly AWMA) executive positions. Tabatha currently works at Wound Innovations (the Wound Management Innovations CRC legacy company) in both Adelaide and at their interdisciplinary Brisbane clinic.

Gay Corbett

Gay Corbett commenced her nursing training in 1981. Gay has an extensive 35 year nursing background within a variety of clinical settings throughout Australia with a particular focus on acute medical and urology nursing care.

Gay is an enthusiastic supporter of education and qualified as a Primary school teacher in 2007. She combined her nursing and education qualifications to work as a nurse educator and coordinator of the enrolled nurse traineeship program in collaboration with Federation University and the Ballarat Health Services Education unit for 6 years.

Gay currently works as the Grampians Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse hosted at Ballarat Health Services. Her work involves providing support to men and their families in all areas of prostate cancer care with a particular interest on improving their sexual wellbeing. She is the point of contact to access services both in the hospital and community, providing reliable information about diagnosis and treatment and coordinating the care of men living with prostate cancer within the region.

Denise Burbridge

Denise is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with special interest in nutrition and ageing. Denise is passionate about nutrition playing a key role in clients maintenance or improvement of independence and preventing ill-health. Denise currently works in private practice with clients in the community and has also worked extensively in the residential aged care sector in clinical care, menu planning and food services. Denise's philosophy with food is simple... it must taste good and be eaten, as food not eaten provides no nutritional benefit. Denise supports clients with their complete food journey from understanding their nutrition requirements and how nutrition impacts on their health to accessing and preparing nourishing foods and fluids.

Melinda Brooks

Melinda Brooks has worked in wound management for more than 20 years, including the Victorian Adult Burns Unit, community nursing, in research and as a lecturer in wound care at Monash and La Trobe universities. Following her endorsement in 2013, Melinda works predominantly in private practice as a Nurse Practitioner in wound management with a focus on aged care and the community. Melinda has presented at many state and national conferences and enjoys teaching others about holistic wound management.

Shani Hill

Shani is a registered nurse with 20 plus years of experience in Continence Care.
Shani Graduated with a Diploma of Community Health as well as Promoting Continence
In 2013 was awarded Best Practice Nurse in Continence Care from APNA (Australian Primary Care Nursing Association)
Shani has been working in the public sector for many years and recently in the private as well.
