Event description

Description

Join Barking Spider Visual Theatre artist who will guide carers with their babies through a visual art experience at the Gallery. Research is proving that positive health and developmental outcomes for babies depends on interactions with caregivers that are responsive, warm and consistent. These relationships play an integral role in shaping a child’s future health and life outcomes. It is in the spirit of supporting caregivers to develop these bonds through engagement with art that we offer this program.

Bookings are essential as class size is limited

Light refreshments will be served for both groups 1 and 2 between sessions at 10.30am – all are welcome.

You may wish to bring along a baby play mat for you to kneel on and baby to lie on.

Please help us to safeguard artworks on display. Carers are asked to ensure their babies do not touch artworks (unless invited by the program presenter).

Incy Wincy Babies runs on the following Fridays in 2019:

  • 25 October (Bookings open 6 September)
  • 29 November (Bookings open 11 October)

Due to popular demand there will be two sessions each day:

  1. 9.30 to 10.30am program is recommended for babies under 1 year old

  2. 11am to 12noon program is recommended for babies 1 year old

When one group fills the other group will accept all ages.

Please read our Terms and Conditions – Public Programs before buying your ticket.

Also note that no refreshments will be served on the September program.
