This essential professional development conference is for all educators striving towards creating diverse and supportive classrooms for every student. Learn practical ways to create the foundations for genuine inclusion at your school.

Hear from international keynote speaker Professor Roy McConkey: Emeritus Professor of Developmental Disabilities, Ulster University, Visiting Professor, Universities in Sydney, Cape Town and Dublin. 

Professor McConkey has worked in the field of intellectual disability for over 40 years and has published extensively. Awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Workshops will cover:

  • Thoughts on social inclusion - an impossible dream?
  • Profile of an inclusive classroom
  • Positive behaviour support
  • Practical strategies to support students within primary and secondary settings
