Event description

Description

Tenebrae is a Latin word meaning "darkness", and refers to a service held at Easter to follow Christ's journey on the path that ultimately leads to the cross. The Tenebrae is a solemn, reflective and very moving observance - the 'shadow' half of an Easter experience that concludes with the joyful light of resurrection.

This Tenebrae service will be a mix of timeless and contemporary elements, and will conclude with an opportunity to do a labyrinth walk for further reflection, or spend some time of quiet fellowship over a light supper. We look forward to having you join us!

Please register your interest for catering purposes. There are no costs involved, however you may make a gold coin donation on the night if you wish.

Note: Due to the nature of the service, it may not be suitable for small children. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
