The night will feature an introduction to our awareness project "In Terror's Wake", a talk from inspriational figures from the regions we're going to be featuring, followed by a Q&A with the team members embarking on the project, with the remainder of the night dedicated to networking and virtual reality demonstrations.

About The Project

In the wake of ongoing war and terror throughout parts of the Middle East, countless incredible stories of bravery and compassion arise from humanitarians, community leaders, and every-day people. "In Terror's Wake" is our project to find these unsung heroes, and take you to share in their experience. In order to undertake this, our team will travel to various countries in the Middle East to film a virtual reality documentary of compassion in the wake of conflict. In order to do this, we are currently fundraising across a variety of mediums to make an impact through this project that no other awarness project has been able to, by immersing people into the reality of the region.
Where are the proceeds going?
100% of all proceeds from ticket sales and Kickstarter proceeds will be going to the awarness project "In Terror's Wake". This is not intended as a 'for profit' event.
How do I find WA Club?
WA Club is located on the Penthouse floor of 12 St George's Terrace, accessible in the lobby elevator furthest to the right.
WA Club is upholds a minimum dress standard for events. Minimum standards advised directly from the Club are as follows:
Gentlemen: Tailored trousers, collared business shirt and appropriate footwear
Ladies: Smart attire appropriate to the dress requirement of the gentlemen
The following are not acceptable:
Denim, shorts, short sleeved shirts, casual shirts, runners, boat shoes
Where can I park?
As the event is within the CBD, parking at CPP bays is recommended over Wilson bays. The closest ones are Terrace Road (near Elizabeth Quay / Victoria Ave), Council House, and Hay St near Mercure Hotel.
Will food be served?
Yes, canapes will be provided throughout the event. We also have vegetarian options. If you have other dietary requirements please inform
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have attendees registered in our own database
What is the refund policy?
Refunds will be granted provided 24 hours notice is given
