A panel discussion with five women that explores the wonderful, tricky, and uncomfortable aspects of working within the creative industry.
About this event
In the Locker Room is one of two speaker events within the exhibition Locker Room Talk.
Four impressive panelists will be joined by a moderator as they discuss gender and identity, and how these interact with their creative professions. So we’re talking - having the confidence to ask for what you're worth financially, adopting a boss-like persona when you feel anything but, and what to do when you feel like your job and your self-worth are so tightly linked.
Have a question you’re dying to ask? Head over to our Instagram (@locker.room.talk.au) and slide into our DMs so we can put your question to our panelists.

About Locker Room Talk
Locker Room Talk is all about creating an art space that celebrates women, trans, and nonbinary folk, and sparks meaningful and positive conversation. It came about because we craved a space that allowed all women and nonbinary people to tell their stories, regardless of personal or societal expectations, and not only was this accepted, but truly celebrated. This panel discussion offers us a wonderful opportunity to talk openly and honestly, which is perhaps more important than ever given the last 18 months we’ve all experienced.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available and are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch if you require a refund.
We are committed to running Locker Room Talk. In the event that a COVID outbreak hits Melbourne at the time of this event, we will first endeavour to move everything online. If that is not is possible (for example during a stage four lockdown and we are unable to leave home), we will refund all tickets and reschedule to a later date.
