Eat Well Tasmania Inc. invites you to the In Conversation with Devita Davison Hobart Event.
Devita has extensive experience in food entrepreneurship, economic development and incubation, and is keen to share her experiences with and learn from Tasmanians. This In Conversation event is for people who want to hear, warts and all, how to turbo charge our local food ecosystem and network with possible future collaborators.
Join us for drinks and Tasmanian seasonal nibbles and networking at 6pm, followed by the conversation.
Devita is a Co-Director of the FoodLab Detroit Project. FoodLab is a diverse community of food businesses and allies working to make good food a sustainable reality for all Detroiters. Their broad work falls into three buckets CULTIVATING, CONNECTING, and CATALYZING. Devita works to provide support to over 140+ food businesses through resource connection, mentoring, high-quality workshops, field-trips and networking opportunities --- all with the goal of cultivating good food businesses. Devita Davison combines her passion for culinary arts with activism and entrepreneurship. She regularly speaks and facilitates workshops on food justice, entrepreneurship and the localist movement across Northern America.
