Description

Learn how to make your own reusable bees wax wraps. These safe wraps are great replacing cling and cuts down on the need for plastic clip lock bags. You will also learn how to make useful household items from items you may have lying around the house.

Participants are required to bring:

  • 1 square piece of cotton (breathable) material ca. 40cm x 40cm > beeswax sheet
  • 2 x 2L empty, cleaned milk bottle (ones with handle) + sharp scissors > scoop + pencil container, various items.
  • old bed sheet (1/2 of single bed) > coiled heat pad
  • 1.5 kg rice or wheat grains or buckwheat. > heat pack
  • Needle, a couple of pins and some thread. > heat pack

This workshop is for Cumberland Council Residents only. If you are not a resident you can register your interest via the None Cumberland Council Resident tickets and be put on a wait list. If a spot becomes available you will be notified.
