About this Event
Boongala, is an Aboriginal word which means shaded place.
The first Boongala garden in NSW was established in the1940s by Sid Cadwell, a native plant pioneer and a legendary figure in the cultivation of Australian plants. When Mal and Jenny started their native garden three decades ago, they named it in the memory Sids Boongala garden.
This is an outdoor event and please bring the following:
Sunscreen , a hat, your water bottle, insect repellent , a picnic blanket, and a cushion
