Level 3 - La Ronde!
This class will cover advanced principles, ideals, concepts and vocabulary in improvisation through the improv format known as “La Ronde.”
Our Level 3 program will help you learn how to create meaningful characters by establishing relationships (focus on feeling), physicality, vocal and facial expressions and point of view.
Level 3 Improv Focuses On:
- Reviewing Basics
- Characters: physicality, vocal and facial expressions, point of view
- Establishing relationships
- Editing
- Form: La Ronde
Prerequisites:
Passed and completed Level 2.
Class Notes
- Classes run for 8 weeks.
- Wednesday evening classes start on 13 Jan.
- No classes on Australia Day weekend (23-26 January)
- The 3rd session will resume in the first week of February.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
- Our venue is the function room of Errol's Cafe. Note that though this is a cafe, service will not be available in our function room during class to ensure a good learning environment. You are of course free to come early to eat dinner in the cafe area and then proceed to the function room for class.
- We plan a graduation showcase after the end of the course. It is scheduled on 20 March. Further details TBC.
