About this event
This workshop gives an overview of Playback Theatre and will extend participants' improvisation and acting skills for bringing authenticity, imagination, listening and playfulness to their work. Playback involves telling stories in ways that are clear and readable, while also using a range of highly expressive and non-naturalistic forms.
The focus of Playback Theatre is to turn the audience's experiences into a performance on the spot. This form of theatre can be moving, funny and transformative.
Bring: Clothing to move in, a water bottle and snacks for the break.
