IMMIGRATION LAW REVIEW 9

Join us for in depth analysis and discussion of immigration law and developments.

This seminar will cover legislative change in the immigration portfolio from November 2018 to May 2019 and discuss judgments of the Federal Court of Australia. Topics will include:

  • changes to skilled migration criteria and occupation lists;
  • new regional visas;
  • temporary parent visa requirements;
  • amendments to working holiday maker visas;
  • the Family Violence Act 2018; and
  • avoiding time limits for merits review - by the law firm who acted for the successful appellant in DFQ17 v MIBP [2019] FCAFC 64.

Our seminar will feature discussion of:

  • character cancellation and assessment; and
  • the effective use of discovery in immigration matters.

Speakers

David Prince

David Prince is an accredited immigration specialist with an established reputation for successfully solving difficult immigration cases.
